ENGL 112 and topic (2)

I decided to go with the extinction of dinasaurs because I found it to be most interesting on the list provided. It was a toss up between that or the history of the English language. I think it would have been cool to learn about the history of the English language, but I really don't think I could get into it enough to research it for almost the whole semester. Extinction of dinasaurs just seems more interesting and it seems like it would be a broader category; plus more options!

I learned a lot about dinasaurs and their extinction while growing up, but I honestly can't remember a single thing. I have a general recollection of what happened and how long ago but that is really it. I am hoping this time I will remember more. I work at an elementary school and they know more about it than me! I think it would be fun to be able to tell them more about it and actually know what I am talking about!

I want to learn more about the individual dinasaurs and which kind of dinasaurs went extinct first and so forth. Dinasaurs were here before us and I think everyone should have a general idea on how they became and how they went extinct. I'm a little worried I might not be able to find all that much on the extinction of dinasaurs, but it is worth a shot.

ENGL 112 and topic (Post 1)

I printed off the possible research topics and put stars next to the topics I found interesting and would like to learn more about. I put stars next to four different topics. The first one I found that would be interesting to learn more about was the history of the English language, my second choice was extinction of dinosaurs, my third was the history and future of the internet, and the fourth topic I found interesting was the mythological and literary sources of The Lord of the Rings or the Harry Potter series. I thought about it all week and I finally came to a decision; the extinction of dinosaurs!
